Hanna Marouchka stars in her one woman show, The Pied Piper. Director Lily Sykes and composer Lucas Gillet  help tell the story.

She finds inspiration in her Russian nana, her Algerian mum, her Greek father, her Australian sisters, her French son - what makes them laugh and what moves them to tears?

“I love stories. Hearing them. Inventing them. Telling them. Retelling them. Fairy Tales are stories that have travelled across time, land and sea. They speak of dreams and despair to the young and the old, the rich and the poor. And they can be twisted, turned on their head, packed with humour. I love teasing out their wisdom, languishing in their darkness and celebrating the hope that they bring.” she said.

The Pied Piper breathes new life into the very old bones of this mischievous fairy tale. It's a one woman comical and musical show that asks trailblazing kids and young at heart folk the question “what will our young make of the world we leave them?”

“Her hyper-real and heavily physical comedy is a pleasure to watch, and the children in the audience, most certainly, were swept up in the magic.”- melbournecritique.com.au
